Our Leadership
An attorney by trade and a businessman at his core, Howie is an experienced industry professional having held executive positions with Booz Allen Hamilton, ThreatConnect, FedData and General Dynamics Fidelis. Howie has an innate ability to see future needs and direct strategies to achieve corporate and mission goals. Howie serves as a subject matter expert on multiple programs leading managed attribution operational support activities.
Philip serves as a special advisor to Virsec, Chairman of the National Cyber Group, Senior Advisor to the Cyberspace Solarium Commission 2.0, Director of LP First Capital (cyber focused private equity) and Director of platform companies Occamsec and Platform Aerospace. Additionally, Philip serves as an advisor and/or board member of the Gula Tech Foundation, Squadra Ventures, Army Cyber Institute, DEA Education Foundation, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Historic Ships of Baltimore, the Dean’s Advisory Board for the Univ. of Baltimore Business School and the Industry Roundtable for the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. He previously served for 10+ years as MD of Alliances for Whiteford, Taylor and Preston, as a senior advisor to Cresset Capital, ARINC, ServiceMaster, Coca-Cola, Mastercard, UPS and Citibank.
Ethan is CEO and founder of The Canton Group.. He is currently responsible for the overall management of The Canton Group, including strategic and operations planning, corporate branding and marketing, finance and talent development. He maintains an active role as a Management and Technical Consultant for Federal Government Agencies, State Government Agencies, Higher Education Institutions, Healthcare Organizations and Fortune 500 companies.
Ethan has managed, led, designed and supported the deployment of more than 500 information systems ranging in scope from e-commerce and secure transactional web applications to large scale, mission critical datacenter and enterprise data management systems.
Our Advisory Board
Rear Admiral (Ret.) Sanders is a United States Navy veteran with over thirty three years of service and carrier aviation experience. Culminating his
military service were Flag assignments as Vice Commander U.S. Naval Forces Central Command; Deputy Commander, U.S. Second Fleet; Deputy
J7, Joint Chiefs of Staff and as International Commander CTF-151, Counter Piracy Operations
off of Somalia.
Mr. Sanders held positions as President of Ausley Associates and Senior Vice President for Wyle. Mr. Sanders has flown over 6,000 flight hours with over 2,500 of those as an Engineering Test Pilot. He has logged over 300
arrested landings on nine different aircraft carriers. Mr. Sanders holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy and has completed Wharton, Keenan Flagler, Sloan and Darden Executive Business courses. He is an MIT Seminar XXI fellow in International & Strategic Policy
Craig Miller served a 30 year career in the Air Force. Craig is a career intelligence officer and has spent over half of his time in the Special Operations community. Craig spent his last four years leading inside the NSA community: first at NSA-Alaska and culminating as the 70th ISR Wing Commander at Ft Meade MD where he was responsible for over 6,000 Airmen working across operations, capabilities, cybersecurity, research, and other parts of the Agency. Craig is passionate about education and maintaining a secure digital environment to allow people to thrive however they want.
Phil is a retired US Army Special Operator and Senior Intelligence Officer with 29 years experience in CIA clandestine operations. Phil was the first American on the ground in Afghanistan after 9/11 where he served as deputy team lead for the first USG team to enter Afghanistan and went on to be Chief of Station in numerous locations including Afghanistan and Director of CIA Special Activities Division.
John currently serves as a Senior Advisor to JHU-APL supporting defense initiatives in cloud, 5G and Cyber Situational Awareness. Previously, John served as futures strategist for Dir. White House Information Technology for High Performance Computing, technical Director of DoD JTF Global Network Operations, Chair of DoD Network Operations Technical Steering Group and Technical Director of CYBERCOM operations directorate.
Captain (U.S. Navy, Retired) Brad Treadway is VP for Xtremis Inc. based in Washington, D.C. supporting Defense and Intelligence customers. He served as a Navy SEAL Officer for twenty-seven years before transitioning to the private sector where he provided management consulting services for Fortune 100 Corporations.
His military experience included a variety of command and staff assignments to include the Department of the Navy’s Assistant Director for Sensitive Activities. Prior to the Pentagon, Naval Special Warfare Group TEN, Special Operations Command Central, Naval Special Warfare Command, Special Reconnaissance Team, Joint Special Operations Command, Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Naval Special Warfare Center, and SEAL Team ONE.
He has been awarded Defense Superior Service Award, Legion of Merit, three Bronze Stars, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, and other personal and unit awards.
Brad graduated in 1988 from the United States Naval Academy and holds a MA in National Security Affairs from the Naval Postgraduate School.
Peter Watts
Peter is the head of Insider Risk & Cyber Intelligence for multinational energy producer a Fortune 100 company Previously, Peter served as Dir. For Cybersecurity Policy at the National Security Council and as an overseas intelligence officer specializing in cyber operations. Peter holds a Masters in Organizational Behavior and BS in Political Science from Stanford University.
Bruce McIndoe
Bruce is a recognized leader and an industry veteran in risk management, technology, and intelligence. Bruce is one of the key founders of iJET International in 1999, which was re-branded as WorldAware in 2018. Bruce was the key contributor to the company’s strategic growth, securing its position as a leader in global intelligence and business resiliency with the development of the Worldcue® Global Control Center (GCC).
Prior to joining WorldAware, Bruce worked with a number of government agencies including NSA/CIA, DoD and NASA. He was also the was the founder and CEO of CSSi. He has also served as a lead architect on intelligence programs for the US government.
